Taiji is an ancient chinese art of movement. Within its development it has incorporated the wisdom, experience and knowledge of the chinese culture. Tai Ji evolved from the gentle inner school of chinese martial arts. According to the insights of the gentle school Qi (vitality, vigor) can best be developped by exercising gentle, flowing movements.
During training the best-known form – the Beijing version – is tought, building on Qi Gong exercises and their 24 sequences of movement.
